In April this year, training was completed by GCS’ senior field technicians in Nabatieh, a city situated near Lebanon’s southern border. In association with MAG, this event was aimed at relaying essential mechanical details that will help to eliminate remnants of war in and around that region.

Mine Awareness Day 2021
April the 4th marks the UN International Day for Mine Awareness and Assistance in Mine Action. Millions of citizens around the world are still faced with the daily and deadly threat of unexploded landmines and IEDs in their communities. We would like to take this opportunity to honour and support our courageous deminers who are working tirelessly to clear their communities of these deadly threats.
New mechanical clearance tasks in Vista Hermosa, Colombia
GCS has been assisting the humanitarian organisation HI in its mission to rid Colombia of its legacy of landmine and IED contamination, for many years. Most recently, we provided HI with our GCS-100 machine in support of a new project in Vista Hermosa in Meta, a region with the highest number of landmine victims in the country.
