Earlier this month, GCS attended the 8th Mine Action Technology Workshop organised by the Geneva International Centre for Humanitarian Demining (GICHD) together with other Mine Action experts, including national authorities, the United Nations and international organisations.
In Geneva, the Mine Action experts had the opportunity to discuss how advanced technology can accelerate the work to positively impact the effect of explosive ordnance on mine-affected populations. It was showcased how mechanical systems can enhance manual work, how Explosive Ordnance Risk Education can be made more effective, and how Remote Sensing, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence can be used more effectively.
GCS participated as an exhibitor and presented its services and solutions as well as the GCS-100 platform with the Tiller, the Manipulator attachment and other tools.
