Despite the sweeping global restrictions that came with 2020, many of our service and maintenance support contracts were extended, bringing our production site in Stockach, Germany to its maximum capacity. In order to ensure that we could continue to provide an optimal service to our clients, our team set up a new services and maintenance facility in the autumn. Located in close proximity to our production site, the new facility is fitted with a crane and can serve all types of mechanical equipment.

At GCS, we fully understand our clients’ requirement to have their equipment completely operational at all times. “Mechanical assets must be regularly maintained to ensure that the equipment is always ‘mission ready’”, says GCS Head of Services, Fabian Klauser. GCS is a long-time and trusted partner of several militaries and has fulfilled a number of maintenance contracts in the past years.

Most recently, we completed another milestone overhauling mechanical assets for the German Army. The overhaul is a service which we offer to our military, commercial and NGO clients. It extends the lifetime of mechanical assets and guarantees that they run as new. It can be conducted on GCS machines, as well as other mechanical platforms and their components, either at the client site or in Germany. “We are proud to have our new facility fully up to speed, alongside our team of experts, and we are looking forward to a successful 2021,” concludes Klauser.
