For the Ukraine Ministry of Defence last week GCS conveyed vital training on all operational mine action which must be undertaken by courageous, dedicated deminers before mechanical demining can take place.

Key aspects include safety protocols, identification of explosive ordnance, threat assessments and drills to be carried out. The fourteen highly skilled participants take this knowledge with them into the field to conduct demining for civilians in Ukraine.
