Fire Brigade receives Provincial Explosive Awareness and Reporting training

Adaptability and applicability are key to our mission: creating safe environments and restoring habitats to rebuild for the future.

In April Global Clearance Solutions (GCS)’ experienced Provincial Explosive Awareness and Reporting (PEAR) instructors led training for a critical corps of the Ukrainian response teams to the expanding threat from Explosive Ordnance (EO) in all areas of Ukraine.

In Prylunksy, Fire Brigade officers who operate in remote areas supporting engineers and workers maintaining key infrastructure received essential hands-on training in how to identify and report landmines and explosive remnants of war in the course of their vital endeavours, so that the threat can be eliminated safely and sustainably by authorities such as The State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SESU).

This project is supported by DEG Impulse as part of the develoPPP programme with funding from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
