Pro Bono demining undertaken by GCS Ukraine in Irpen, Kyiv region

The community of Irpen, which suffered significant contamination with landmines and other explosive remnants of war during the 2022 occupation, has shared a video of Global Clearance Solutions Ukraine 's pro bono work clearing landmines and other explosive remnants of war near Kyiv.

In the video, we see the meticulous manual and mechanical demining undertaken by our specialist demining team. Members of the team explain how our integrated demining solutions deploy our own technology - in this case our remote-controlled GCS-200 demining platform - to maximise speed while maintaining operator safety: "This machine GCS 200 is designed to prepare the soil for further clearing the territory manually. At first, the car goes through the territory, removing the appropriate layer of soil. This is a very effective way to prepare and inspect the territory, because we can clear 6000 meters per day, it's impossible manually.”

Over the past two years, over 60 members of the local municipality and members of the local Ukraine utility company have received our internationally-accredited training to assist their community, creating safe environments for fellow civilians to rebuild their lives and recover economically.
