New Voice note: “In September 2024, specialists from the State Emergency Service showed how the GCS-200 helps to demine and survey territories in the Pokrovsky and Kramatorsk districts of the Donetsk region. It is these front-line areas that remain one of the hottest as of the fall of 2024, and the region is one of the most mined.”
As well as Donetsk, New Voice reports on GCS machines deployed in Mykolaiv, a region also heavily contaminated by landmines and other Explosive Remnants of War (ERW). New Voice reports the benefits of our mechanical demining platforms: “The speed of demining in the case of the GSC-200 is more than double that of the GSC-100 and is up to 2.3 km/h or 12,000 m² per day, which is approximately the size of two football fields.”
With almost sixty machines currently deployed in Ukraine, GCS continue to pioneer mine and weapon clearance across the globe.
