Global Clearance Solutions (GCS) and our local LLC Global Clearance Solutions Ukraine are delighted to feature in this week's Mine Action Weekly from Markus Schindler.

The coverage in UNN, a Ukraine Press Agency, focused on coordination between the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, the Ukraine National Mine Action Authority and certified mine action operators including GCS.

Ruslan Kravchenko, Head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration said: "After the hostilities, a lot of explosive devices remained in the de-occupied territories of Kyiv region. And there are great risks for the civilian population. The State Emergency Service of Ukraine specialists continue demining operations, but the forces of Ukrainian specialists and budget funds are not enough. That is why we engage certified operators and receive funding from international partners to ensure that demining does not last for many years."

He added: "Another important issue is the proper amount of professional equipment." Since establishing our presence in 2022, GCS has delivered nearly 60 demining platforms to Ukraine with specialist attachments for eliminating explosive threats, as well as technical training for operators and service and maintenance offered from our dedicated workshop near Kyiv.
