The State Emergency Service of Ukraine released a powerful video demonstrating the effectiveness of our GCS-200 demining platform to detect and eliminate explosive threats for civilians in Ukraine.
Farmers and others economically dependent on the release of the estimated 139,000 square kilometres of Ukrainian land which needs to be surveyed - a quarter of Ukrainian territory - are able to rebuild livelihoods and communities devastated by conflict and contaminated by explosive remnants of war (ERW).
SESU currently operate twelve GCS demining platforms across Ukraine, focused in areas heavily contaminated by landmines and unexploded ordnance (UXO). In Donetsk, more than 64,000 square metres have been surveyed by SESU units.
GCS is the world's leading supplier of systems for humanitarian demining in Ukraine and our demining platforms are the most modern of their kind in the world. Our remote-controlled demining machines with state-of-the-art sensors and a range of modular attachments ensure maximum safety and efficiency in humanitarian demining. We partner with SESU, providing comprehensive training for the operator teams on site as well as service and maintenance support.
