State Special Transport Service receives four GCS demining platforms

As part of our valued partnership with Tetra Tech and funded by the governments of the USA and Canada, GCS last month handed over four of our GCS-100 mine-clearing vehicles together with other demining and humanitarian equipment to the State Special Transport Service (SSTS) in Ukraine.

The package, which represents an investment of over $5.8 million, includes four GCS-100 mine-clearing vehicles with attachment kits, trucks for transporting our vehicles as well as minibuses and protective equipment for personnel.

As reported by the Ministry of Economy, our lightweight, remote-controlled GCS-100 mine-clearing machine is capable of efficiently clearing up to 5,000 square metres of territory per day, including in hard-to-reach places.

Odessa Journal notes that as of July 16th, the State Special Transport Service has surveyed over 115,000 hectares of territory and disposed of more than 178,000 explosive objects.
