It was our pleasure to welcome representatives from Ukraine’s Ministry of Defence and State Special Transport Service of Ukraine (SSTS) at our headquarters in Freienbach in Switzerland followed by a working visit to our production facility in Stockach, Germany last week.
We were proud to showcase the full scope of our Explosive Threat Clearance solutions, from our proven technology to our full-service demining solutions to Colonel Yevhenii Zybarevskyi, Deputy Head of Mine Action and Colonel Olha Drobot, Head of the Mine Action Information Management Department, both at Ukraine’s Ministry of Defence Main Directorate of Mine Action, Civil Protection and Environmental Safety. Representing the SSTS Administration, Colonel Serhii Bezruchko, Head of the Support Department, and Senior Lieutenant Viktor Vyshnov, Officer of the Support Department completed the delegation.
Interest was naturally high in the latest drone, detection and jamming solutions within our portfolio, and by presenting the whole company ecosystem, our visitors were impressed to see how our research and development is fed and optimised by real-life feedback from our operators and machines the field.
Accompanying the delegation, Global Clearance Solutions Ukraine General Manager Dmytro Salimonov said “Our partnerships with SSTS and the Ministry of Defence distinguish GCS and GCS Ukraine, as one of the first commercially accredited demining companies in Ukraine. Working since 2022 in country, we have established working relationships. It was therefore a pleasure to provide a warm welcome in Switzerland and Germany to our valued partners.”
