GCS CEO & co-founder Philipp von Michaelis attends Economic Day at the 22nd Ambassadors' Conference

This week in Berlin our co-founder and CEO Philipp von Michaelis attended the Economic Day at the 22nd Ambassadors' Conference. BoKoWiTa hosts key figures from the commercial sector to engage in in-depth discussions on pressing issues such as foreign policy, raw materials decarbonisation, and global industrial competition.

Through a series of panels and interactive dialogues, the conference provided a platform for exchanging ideas and exploring strategic directions for the future as well as a valuable opportunity to engage with leaders from diverse industries, governments, and international organisations.

Philipp von Michaelis met with key decision-makers from the German Government to focus on urgent issues in conflict-affected regions such as Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, conversations which underscore the crucial role of humanitarian demining as the first step toward economic recovery in areas contaminated by unexploded ordnance and explosive remnants of war.

We remain steadfast in our commitment to a safer and more sustainable future, aligning our demining efforts with global humanitarian priorities.
