GCS Ukraine achieve official mechanical operator accreditation

Our Ukraine team have officially received another key accreditation from the MINISTRY OF DEFENSE UKRAINE and the State Special Transport Service of Ukraine, that of accredited mechanical demining operator.

We are extremely proud to be once again at the forefront of Mine Action Standards in Ukraine, supporting the Ukraine Government’s goal to clear 80% of contaminated territories in the next 10 years. GLOBSEC reports that the feasibility of this goal depends on a sufficient number of deminers, machines and robotic systems.

Global Clearance Solutions (GCS) Deputy Head of Operations Ashley Williams expressed his thanks and admiration for the team: “From our local deminers to specialist experts with decades of experience, this accreditation recognises the standard of excellence across the GCS team. We continue to demine Ukraine day by day, adhering to the very highest International Mine Action Standards and communicating the very real threat from landmines and other explosive remnants of war.”
