For an inspiring exchange with experts within the demining community at the Geneva International Centre for Humanitarian Demining Innovation Conference 2023, Sales Manager Damir Stimac represented GCS on the Technology panel discussion to examine how cooperation and collaboration across the sector can establish a needs-based approach.

GCS Head of Operations Johan Coetzee was also on hand, demonstrating the key to success with examples from the field where implementing understanding of mine action organisations’ needs, requirements and expectations has led to optimised outcomes.

Damir thanked the organizers of the Innovation Conference, GICHD, for the opportunity to be a member of the panel discussion as the representative of equipment manufacturers and added: ”GCS is always looking for ways to ensure our technology meets the needs of our own Operations team, as well as our partners and mine action organizations deploying our remote-controlled demining platforms.
