GCS CEO and Co-founder Philipp von Michaelis focuses on rebuilding Ukraine

Article in German reads: “The focus is also on the time AFTER the war. The next reconstruction conference will take place in Berlin in mid-June. Habeck says: "There is hope in the word 'reconstruction'. Of course, we still have to think about Ukraine after the war during the war."

The deminers from GCS (Global Clearance Solutions) are already removing the deadly remnants of war, detecting booby traps and landmines. Ukrainian technicians operate the machines on site. Founder and CEO Philipp von Michaelis (49) told BILD: "30 of our devices are already in use in Ukraine and 50 more have been ordered. We deliver three to four systems every month."

He says: "The farmers need to be able to cultivate their fields. Ukraine depends on the economy being able to function."
