Operations & Field Service
Sustained mechanical demining operations depend on trained operators who can deploy, maintain and integrate equipment safely under field conditions.
In April 2024, Global Clearance Solutions (GCS) delivered inkind training support to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SESU), reinforcing national capacity for mechanical mine clearance during ongoing recovery efforts.

Practical training for operational readiness
Across five dedicated training courses, GCS instructors trained more than 50 SESU employees in the safe and effective operation of GCS remotecontrolled mechanical demining platforms. The training focused on operational procedures, system handling and basic maintenance to ensure that deployed machines can be used efficiently and sustained in the field.
This support enables SESU teams to integrate mechanical clearance assets into their existing workflows, increasing productivity while reducing direct exposure of personnel to explosive hazards.
Training as part of service support
The inkind contribution reflects GCS's broader approach to service and lifecycle support, where training is treated as an essential component of effective clearance capability rather than a oneoff activity.
By reinforcing operator competence and confidence, the training contributes directly to safer land release and supports the restoration of civilian livelihoods and infrastructure in affected areas.
