In their report, Ukraine defence media outlet Militarnyi cites Ukrainian Deputy Minister for Economy Ihor Bezkaravainyi on the handover of the latest of our remote-controlled demining platforms:

“The number of injuries among sappers has decreased fivefold since the start of using these vehicles. We are sincerely grateful to our Swiss partners for their ongoing support, which allows us to significantly improve the safety and efficiency of demining.”

This project is possible thanks to the donation from the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation and the local involvement of The State Emergency Service of Ukraine, who together with Global Clearance Solutions will ensure sustainable and effective demining solutions reach areas which desparately need humanitarian demining. GCS has already completed projects in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Zaporizhia, Sumy, Chernihiv and Zhytomyr regions since the outbreak of war in Ukraine.
