Global Clearance Solutions Ukraine has signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with Epicentr Safety to support national humanitarian demining efforts in Ukraine.
Epicentr Safety is part of the Epicentr Group, a diversified Ukrainian enterprise founded more than twenty years ago, with activities spanning retail, e-commerce, agriculture and logistics. Epicentr Safety was established in October 2023 and is certified as a humanitarian demining operator in Ukraine.
The memorandum provides a framework for cooperation in humanitarian mine action, with a focus on operational coordination, the application of appropriate technologies and the development of partnerships that support safe land use and economic recovery.
The memorandum was signed by Oleksandr Bilotil on behalf of Epicentr Safety and Dmytro Salimonov, General Manager GCS Ukraine, representing Global Clearance Solutions Ukraine.
Commenting on the cooperation, Dmytro Salimonov said:
"Effective humanitarian demining depends on cooperation between capable operators. This memorandum brings together complementary experience and supports the use of appropriate technologies and coordinated approaches to address mine and ERW contamination."
Through the agreement, GCS Ukraine and Epicentr Safety aim to contribute to the scaling of demining capacity in Ukraine, supporting communities, businesses and public authorities affected by explosive remnants of war.
The cooperation forms part of GCS's broader engagement in Ukraine, combining mechanical demining systems, trained personnel, service and maintenance support and institutional cooperation to enable safe access to land and infrastructure.
