Global Clearance Solutions AG (GCS) is supporting a sustainability initiative implemented by its supplier CONRO, which contributes to reforestation efforts in Germany through the PLANT-MY-TREE programme.

CONRO, based in Bremen, supplies transport containers for GCS mechanical demining platforms and attachments, as well as mobile workshop containers used by GCS Service and Maintenance teams. For each container delivered to GCS, CONRO funds the planting of one tree as part of its participation in the PLANT-MY-TREE initiative.

To date, 72 trees have been planted near Itzehoe in northern Germany. CONRO employees take part in organised planting activities, and the programme continues to expand. The initiative aims to support longterm reforestation, contribute to carbondioxide absorption and enhance local ecosystems.

PLANT-MY-TREE has been active for more than twenty years and has planted over one million trees across more than 110 forest areas in Germany.

By working with suppliers that integrate environmental considerations into their operations, GCS seeks to promote responsible practices within its partner network, alongside its core activities in explosivethreat mitigation and operational support.
