GCS acquires majority stake in Swiss jamming specialist Symlab

Global Clearance Solutions AG (GCS) has acquired a 75 percent majority stake in Symlab GmbH, a Switzerlandbased specialist in jamming and radiofrequency solutions.

Global Clearance Solutions AG (GCS) has acquired a 75 percent majority stake in Symlab GmbH, a Switzerlandbased specialist in jamming and radiofrequency solutions.

The transaction represents a strategic step in expanding GCS's technological capabilities in explosivethreat mitigation. By integrating Symlab's jamming expertise, GCS strengthens its ability to address threats involving radiocontrolled explosive devices and related hazards across governmental, security and protection contexts.

GCS and Symlab have worked together in several markets in recent years and share a focus on practical, fielddriven solutions. The investment formalises this cooperation and enables closer technical and commercial alignment.

Philipp von Michaelis, Chief Executive Officer and cofounder of GCS, said:
